Dear Visitor, Thank you for visiting our website and the interest in our holiday offerings that this demonstrates.
As mayor of Creglingen, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and to introduce briefly our town and its surroundings.
Creglingen is located not far from Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the town world-famous for its medieval townscape. A well-known vacation route, the Romantic Road, with its many attractions such as Weikersheim and Bad Mergentheim, also runs along the valley of the river Tauber.
We offer accommodation in hotels, private rooms, holiday apartments and houses as well as farm holidays. We are the ideal starting point to explore the Tauber valley and the northern part of the Romantic Road.
It is 50 km to Würzburg, 95 km to Nuremberg and 165 km to the airport in Frankfurt.

What is there to do in Creglingen? - Activities
A number of bicycle routes are to be found in the greater Creglingen area: It is possible, for example, to cycle from the Tauber valley over to the Main river valley.
Germany’s most famous vacation route, the “Romantic Road”, passes along the valley of the Tauber. Here also, there is a bicycle path which leads upstream to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and downstream to Weikersheim. Round trip paths through the various side valleys of the Tauber are also available.
The greater Creglingen area lies between 230 and 500 metres above sea level. It includes five side valleys of the Tauber, numerous biotopes, ruins of castles and uncommonly beautiful churches and landscapes.
We offer a total of 14 walking trails for those of our visitors who want to discover Creglingen on foot.
